Every Chair was wrapped with bubble wrap, cushions wrapped in plastic. It was a lot nicer than what the photos share. The chairs are a lot bigger than the pictures. I LOVE this set. Stores easily and the chairs stack up together for easy storage. Everything was put together effortlessly. I highly recommend this set for the value! It looks a lot more expensive.
